Meet Our Founder
Maria Jose (Majo), Founder & Director
Majo founded Healing Hearts Therapy Centre with the vision of creating a compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based space for emotional healing.
As a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Majo offers therapy in English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility and understanding for clients from diverse backgrounds.
With extensive experience in non-profits, hospitals, and private practice, she supports individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges.
Majo integrates approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, EFT, and IFS, combining scientific methods with empathy and cultural awareness.
Her philosophy: “Therapy is not about fixing — it’s about freeing.”

Every therapist at Healing Hearts Therapy Centre is trained in the Healing Hearts Method™ — a structured, compassionate, and evidence-based framework developed by our Clinical Director, Maria Jose (Majo) Guerrero.
